Through my Peephole (http://niftyj.blogspot.in/) deserves more attention and following, you never know when the mindless bantering of Nifty Jacob will one day transform into an editorial column of some 150 buck worth magazine for a month's issue. I m sure I m getting my free copies when she does it.
There is much to learn and much to admire about an amateur blogger who does it with sheer interest and joy and not out of greed. When I started blogging (I dont even remember the last time I was totally interested in getting the blog running) it was just a fad which was in fashion. Today its been more than one year since I wrote about something, rather someone special and today is yet another interesting yet intriguing character of my life. Its much more sexy and hot to have a vocabulary like hers than talking about beauty. If I want to known sexy, it would be for the right things and that would be my language and vocab.
A few years back Neeraj inspired me to start blogging but today Nifty Jacob does it again. A person like me who once loses interest in anything, its very difficult to get back to it and she does it without much efforts.Through my peephole only inspires me to write more but with more intensity and depth. Nifty Jacob and her mindless banter has so much words and worth than my well thought out write up.
If writing makes one happy and if there is enough courage to pursue it, then there is no world with so much peace and satisfaction. living in a parallel world is what writers can do and should do, to inspire people having monotonous life working on mundane jobs. If that is where your heart lies, you should follow it, only to make you happy. I feel if you have the thing to write, leave all MS office thing and go about having long holidays, just to write and not to win the Man Booker Prize. Write like you don't have much time to write two books, write like its your last chance to make it big in the for yourself, write like you don't belong to this world.
Nifty Jacob, don quit. Write. Just write.
"The only thing I was fit for was to be a writer, and this notion rested solely on my suspicion that I would never be fit for real work, and that writing didn’t require any." - Russell Baker
